summer 10 x 10: day 3

on day 3 we rode our bikes to church and did a bunch of little things around the house to get ready for the week. and it’s a very good thing i had just seen a photo about how women in europe bike around everywhere and still look cute. otherwise the whole biking thing may have totally de-railed my 10×10 plans.

some of the looks i got riding a bike in this dress were quite funny. apparently people in the suburbs of charlotte really don’t expect to see families biking places – especially while dressed up.

this dress is extremely comfortable. it also is a great example of why i cannot go into anthropologie anymore. because it’s my favorite store. and because they have not shown that they track their supply chain. i’ve bought two things there this past year, and this is one of them. i thought about it for 3 weeks before i bought it. i searched for similar dresses, and found nothing similar enough to buy instead of this one.

and that is exactly the reason why i’m doing this blog. i want to find other options that are as obvious to me as going to anthropologie.

today’s outfit info:

dress: anthropologie. super thin and comfortable. also comes in petite sizes {which is great for me!}, but they’re also sold out of a bunch of sizes now.

shoes: old, j. crew factory ankle boots. {similar here} for more info take a look back at day 1.

belt: old, abercrombie & fitch. {similar on etsy}

have a great day friends!
