today is supposed to be similar to yesterday, except all sun instead of just partial sun. so i went back to my normal summer playbook – add interest through texture instead of bulk.

this skirt is one i’ve had for a long while now, but it’s still one of my favorites. i just love the way this outfit came together.

monday june 25

i know, mondays are not exactly my favorite day of the week either. but the good news this time around is that it’s officially summer, and this outfit will make you smile the whole way through the day.

looking forward & giving back

august always finds me looking forward to fall. always. this august is no exception; it’s just that this year i’m trying not to buy up everything cozy that i come across.

it’s always crazy to me that it’s still about 90* outside, and yet here we are buying sweaters.

the next few weeks of our family’s life will be crazy, and in that sense i’m looking forward to september even more so than usual.

and i realized that the busy-ness of life is a big part of what causes us to not care. {yes, i realize that seems disjointed. allow me to explain}:
